There are a great selection of maps to choose from which range in difficulty and an unlimited amount of possible tracks to play in the future. Featuring a number of differing items to collect or wear and bikes to customize you make your experience even more intense. The same old motorcycles are back in the future for some reason, funny though they definitely fit in. The next generation Trials title is here bringing us the future. It is a tool set like this that will really extend the life of Fusion for a very long time and I'm sure creators will love it. There are seriously a vast number of items to place, special effects to place or even user triggered events to set up. The maps I have already played on were very fascinating and should even have earned a place in the regular roster. Coupling the ability to change the environment, weather and day cycle every map with be ultra unique.

The editing system that has been well known in the Trials series is back with all the fancy and magical new pieces presented in the future. So there really isn't much to go over in this aspect, but for the meantime there are many other things to enjoy. There is also a multiplayer section which is set in local play since the online servers are not available at the current moment or really until months later.
Though if there wasn't a challenge the crazy great folks wouldn't be faced with difficulty. I really have no complaints in how the actual game runs or even how it looks, some parts got frustrating later on and caused some anger. They even added an ATV this time which was a neat mix-up in the levels. Some had some raw power whereas others were a little bit more tame in their style. The vehicles all run with a differing style and handle quite well. There is everything from sunny worlds to foggy swamps and even deathly dark lands. Trials Fusion looks beautiful and has a great style within each of its tracks. This is where the phantoms of other riders is really interesting as it gets just a tad more competitive when you can see your friends ahead of you in the game. Or if you're really determined you can tough it out for ultimate glory. From where you can simply go over to custom tracks in order to keep the gameplay going if you so choose. I did find the difficulty really spikes towards the ending area, really intensely.
On top of the main goals for each of tracks there are also challenges which require you to perform additional tasks to gain extra XP and money. The maps feature a crazy set of things that can mix up exactly what is happening. This wide variety keeps the action going and changes the pace of challenges constantly. With the settings come a couple of different levels from the simple time trials to trick rides or even distance goals. These range from futuristic metropolis settings to crazy creeper ruin swamps. When it comes to the levels provided there is a great variety of sections available to play. To unlock further areas you must gain a certain amount of medals in order to progress with every area having the usual Bronze, Silver and Gold to gain. The actual story itself or really just the campaign area is split into multiple areas that each have a certain environmental theme and basically just carry from there. Though with a lack of releases I thought I might as well give it a shot and I am quite happy with the purchase as it really does offer a fantastic set of default maps with an editor that will bring almost an unlimited amount of more to play. For me this is really interesting and dynamic in gameplay as I have honestly never played a Trials game before electing just to miss out on them as I never thought it would be my sort of thing. Moving forward with this it is really awesome seeing track pieces slide in or out and track coming out of nowhere to help form a completely new direction to traverse through. Now when I say realistic, it really doesn't look too outlandish in terms of scenery or even road style. Taking the series to new heights and really just going crazy with a nice realistic based future setting. The jingled music quoted above plays in the menus as you prepare to race trials in the future.
